I shoe my BRZ with studded winter tires. With all the 'nanny' aids on, you can hardly throw this thing off the road. Best non 4x4 winter vehicle I have ever driven.

I have HID on my '13, was in my friends '18 and didn't notice any difference although at the time I wasn't in his car to compare headlights. But if there was any difference it didn't jump out at me.
