That's exactly what I did, you can see my build page. I did the driveshaft first, then trans and diff with axles. Then put in a built motor and turbo kit. It will not harm or cause any ill effects.

Just do what I did, be stupid and spend a ridiculous amount of money and change the final drive to a 3.73 and quadruple the power output. It will definitely make the car more fun.....

I like that look, would look pretty good on a wide body. I cant use a lot of the louvers I have found because the brake light cut out is on the bottom and I moved my brake light to the top.
