Carbon parts for GT86/FR-S/BRZ

All parts are made by myself. And I want to briefly show "how to do carbon parts" . First, my creations.

An example of cover injector, to show you how to make carbon part.
Cut the fabric to the required size.

Carbonfiber prepreg also cut.

Everything laid into the matrix.

Then, all under vacuum in an oven.Excess resin absorbed into the peel ply and absorbent layer.

The result is this. Weigh 0.055 kg.

OEM cover

Everything was done to reduce weight.Bonus - beauty.

If you have questions, ask.I will answer in more detail.

Can you make some carbon versions of the BRZ fender garnishes? I see a few I like but the prices are too high for what's offered.

If you can make some carbon BRZ fender garnishes (no chrome, I plan to cut them into vents anyways) for a decent price, I'd buy a set for sure.

To me it doesn't look like the hood has been clear coated? Maybe that will help.

I agree, don't look too pretty, there is a defect. But for me it does not matter. The main low weight.Hood weighs 2.159 kg (4.759 lbs) , fenders 0.5 kg. Paint is not going to, because that is overweight.

It looks awful and does not work properly. For this reason, removed intake.
