Talking Wheel Directory: Rota Torque 17x7.5 +48

UK GT86. Stock suspension. OEM Michelin 215/45/17 tyres. Looking to get some AD08's in 225/45/17 soon.

Fresh off the jack:

Dirty:

Next to OEM for comparison, you may notice the slight stretch on the sidewall due to the 0.5" wider rim:

Ordered new Wheels Rota Torques 17x7.5 Hyper Black

Since I wanted something that looked good, relatively light weight, decent quality at a good price. I just can't afford to drop big money on wheels. I wanted new and the more i thought about it, more i realized I did not care for the decent enki's styles or colors. The Torques are beautiful wheels and the hyper black color is going to look great on the silver FR-S. Will post pictures when I get them mounted. Next piece of the equation. RCE Yellows or ST coils.

I have a confession. I did not get Titans but I got the Torques. I was looking at these the whole time and its the ones I wanted, just someone how got titan in my head. Wheeldude does not even stock titans in that size.

Here are some teaser pics

I've got Rota Titan's myself and yes, so what if they're a replica of WEDS. Not everyone wants to spend that amount of money on a set of wheels.

I see far more people spending big on wheels, but then cheap out on tires by fitting rubbish chinese made rubber. That to me is even more absurd.

I never said anything about spending tons of money on JDM wheels. I'm actually enjoying how many people try to justify their wheel purposes even though it's an affordable version of the actual wheel it's trying to copy. To each and their own, I don't care how much you save or spend on the wheels. I guess just typing out a name of a wheel seems to anger people for no reason like this guy.

I'm curious as to what you were trying to accomplish with your first post.

Just posting my first reaction when I saw the wheel. That is all. Did not expect a full synopsis from fans of the Rota wheel. People get too defensive at nothing. I never wrote anything about broken wheels, you guys just assume too much.

Okay, wow glad that is all.

To the OP, congrats on your purchase. Please do post up some pics once you have them mounted. I'm looking hard at the titans as well and would like to see some 17s in hyper silver.
