is this OFH release the one that the original post was made for, or will there be another release for non-OFH UEL headers?

Thread title and initial posting indicates UEL in a general sense, with reference to OFH at the very bottom regarding some tweaks to VVT. Is this change specific enough to be incompatible with JDL?

I second this question, is the updated tune specific enough to the OFH to be incompatible w/ any typical aftermarket UEL header? @Shiv@Openflash

Hi guys,
The VVT tables are optimized specifically for the OFH. I cannot predict how it will work with other headers. I wouldn't say that they are incompatible with other headers. All I can say is that they may not be optimized. These maps are pretty aggressive so please don't treat them like any other OTS map.

So for those with JDL UELs keep using the VVT maps you posted before but maybe take advantage of some of the other changes/tweaks you've implemented?

I understand supporting your product first (OFH) and have no problem with that. I also understand that there's an exponentially large amount of aftermarket setups, but my question is: are there plans to have similar optimizations for other headers such as JDL, Borla, Tomei?

will there be similar optimizations to the tunes with other aftermarket UEL headers aside from OFH coming in the future? or will you be specifically supporting OFH tunes?

How much more aggressive are these tunes? Do you recommend that we have the oft reading out on the dash at all times, or do you mean we simply check up on it more often than the current tunes? How much room in these is there for knock correction as opposed to the previous tune?

He said flat out, he doesn't know how it will work on other headers. OFH users were asked for specifically in the beta test. We're going to have to test it and give feedback to each other.

For those of you who haven't checked in RomRaider yet, there are 12 tables that have changes when you compare the OTS tunes to the OFH optimized tune. They are:

Primary open loop fueling
Engine Load Limit B Maximum (RPM)
Engine Load Limit C Maximum (RPM)
Base Timing B
Knock Correction Advance Max A
Timing Compensation (IAT)
Timing Compensation Per Cylinder A
Timing Compensation Per Cylinder B
Intake Cam Advance Angle Safe AVCS
Intake Cam Advance Angle Normal AVCS
Exhaust Cam Retard Angle Safe AVCS
Exhaust Cam Retard Angle Normal AVCS

What does all of this mean? Just that the tunes are different. When you look at the areas you'll see that the changes are designed to go together since many of them are in the same general RPM/load area.

Using these with a different header will clearly be a YMMV situation. If you are looking to try them out just go ahead and log the data.
