ASA KA3 17x7.5
Dunlop Winter Sport 3D 225/45-17 Got the set for cheap on Craigslist ($400 with 75% tread remaining). Happy with grip and consistency. Seem to have alot of clear coat on them to fight the salty roads. I'll get side pics later but it looks alot like my RPF1 w/race rubber: Except with these on: Also, as winter arrives... watch out for frozen tail light condensation:

If your old wheels with the TPMS are stored in the garage, or close to where you park, your car will sense them and everything will be fine. So every time you go into your garage, you'll get another 60 miles (or the actual number, if 60 miles is wrong) of distance before the TPMS will come on. If your daily commute is less than that range, you basically "recharge" your distance every time you come home and you'll never see the light. |

Before and after a car-wash yesterday. Car was dirty again before I even got home. Dumb Canadian weather.

Yep. Here in Louisiana, winter last 6-8 hours. That'll be some day in February probably.

More snowy pics of the frosty carrot.
As long as you're careful, the Dunlops did OK. They'll break loose under power, but they move on ice and climb up drifts (as long as they're less than 5" tall - ground clearance)

If you park your car close enough to where you store your summer wheels (and the TPMS sensors) and you never go on a drive beyond 25 miles or so, there's a good chance your car keeps resyncing to the TPMS sensors on the summer wheels and it thinks everything is copacetic.

If they do, it will be because you park close enough to the wheels with the sensors and don't drive far enough away for it to trip the system. My summers are in my basement, but the car still gets a reading from them, so the light doesn't come on until about half way to work. On the way home it flashes right away and stays solid after that.
