Beatrush Pillow Ball Mounts with KW V3?
I've been looking around for options for Pillow Ball Mounts for us KW V3 users and understand the GD styles should work. I am looking at the Beatrush plates and can't find any information as to whether they will work for the KW V3's which I believe have a 60mm spring. Anyone with experience or insight please chime in, I don't want to drop over $300 and find out they won't work.

why not just get the vorshlags? they're well priced, known for their proven quality and reliability amongst the aftermarket community, have added caster offset, and fit the KW V3.

Vorshlag plates are an excellent option. I just want to know if we have other options. Beatrush makes quality parts and these seem to be pretty stout and cost $100 less.

I was trying to confirm 100% for you, but could not find conformation. Now I would imagine these will work without any issues at all, as the KW's are designed to use the OEM top hats, and these Beatrush top hats are designed to work with the OEM dampers. I will keep on digging around for you, but just wanted to jump in here with an update Thanks, Rick |

Thanks Rick! I emailed Laile and got this back...
"Thank you for your interesting in our products. If you can inform us the screw size of pillow nut, we can make it for you, Thank you, Hamada/ Laile" I appreciate you looking into this. They're installed on the Beatrush 86. You can see them in all the pictures of the Type 1 & 2 strut bars. If you can confirm this works please send me a PM for pricing of the plates and the Type 1 bar purchased together. I really like the product Beatrush puts out. Do you know if they are going to do a master cylinder brace for LHD cars. I've noticed they've recently released some cross member inserts and a really nice diff brace so it seems as they are making progress on this platform.

JDL Auto Design have KW V3 coilovers with Hotchkis camber plates on their FR-S. The Hotchkis plates add 1° of positive caster and you can get up to 3° of negative camber. The plates slide, so you can adjust camber to whatever angle you wish within it's range. Just another option.

I was not able to get a conformation from Beatrush, but doing my own research, the KW's will use the OEM thread pitch and diameter which should be 12x1.25. The Beatrush camber plates will also use a 12x1.25 nut, so those should work together without an issue.
I don't think Beatrush will produce the Strut bar with the master cylinder brace for the LHD models, but we do offer the cusco one, or an independent MC brace as well Also, I will PM you a price on the Strut tops and strut tower bar Thanks, Rick |

@RallySport Direct - Hey Rick. I did some digging last night and came upon a blog for the Laile parts development. Once again the translation sucks on google chrome but at the bottom 2 blog entries of this page you can see what Laile mounted up to their car. In your opinion does this still look like a go? I'm no suspension GURU so your advice is appreciated.

They should fit but you may want to use the GD OEM conical washer.

Anyone know how to add camber adjustment without using camber plates?
I am interested in getting V3s but don't want to suck up the cost of spending another 400+ for camber plates. |

You can get a fair amount just from the slots in the front struts. If you need more just add camber bolts. Only reason to go with the plates with the KW's is a more connected feel from omitting the rubber in the OEM top hat and ease of adjusting for different scenarios.

So my next question would be has anyone outside of Japan actually seen and used these and is there a obvious benefit by choosing the Vorshlag plates over these.
If I go with Beatrush plates I will also do the Perrin PSRS busing to stiffen that point up and get some more caster whereas the Vorshlag has added caster built in but I would still be using the OEM bushing in the control arm. I found a picture of the Vorshlag plates and it appears they have 2 bearings instead of just the one. What is the benefit of this over 1 bearing? Does it increase the life of the set up or does it function markedly better or simply cut down on noise? My goal is to track the car. Quality of the parts is very important. I don't want to waste money on plates that will fail is my ultimate concern.
