Will this stop the noise most hear when running the mounts? How much the spacer cost?

KW designed their suspension to us the factory mounts similar to our Ground Control Street system. If you already have/ordered your KW suspension and you are looking for camberplates, our camberplates do work with KW and we have them in stock.

Typically 60mm, but we've found that KW sends either 60mm or 2.5" in their kits. Not a big deal either way.

Bingo! That's exactly what most of my KW V3's customers have done if they want adjustable camber settings. KW's don't come with Camber plates, it's considered a European style coilover kit (which means they do not come with camber plates). JDM style coilovers like Tein and HKS for example, typically do come with Camber plates assembled already, that's the big difference.

With what Vorshlag has done for camber plates though, you know you're getting a top notch kit here, really good stuff that all my customers who race on the track use 100%!

These are the best thing going, by far. Camber/Caster adjustment and no loss of suspension travel.

Dunno what you mean by caster adjustment but unless GC machines different tophats with preset caster offsets then the pictures of the GC setup are pretty much a neutral caster setup. The Vorshlags are machined with a built in 1 degree of positive caster. I could be wrong about GC as they advertise their camber plates as having adjustable caster but I don't see how based on the design...maybe they can clarify it for me.

Also the other thing I personally am not a fan of is the cross member and being stuck with that as my only option if i were to buy GC camber plates.

Other than that GC makes great stuff, I just have a little different taste :/

Just my .02

I'm not running that spacer and I have no issues.

The mounting plate's holes are slotted providing adjustable caster. This is a very common method of adding caster adjustment to a McPherson strut suspended car. I do not see much function or need in a strut bar for this car in my experience, it is pretty darn stiff. I would not even bother purchasing or installing the strut bar on offer from GC. Luckily you can buy the plates without them. Say you do not want the caster adjustment, the travel advantage provided by the GC plates vs the other offerings on the market thus far is indisputable. Perhaps in the near future there will be something the same or better, but as for right now, GC is the one to beat if function is your #1 concern. I do not have the GC plates, I am running the Hotchkis plates on stock struts and upgraded springs... But I would not mind a set.

Guess it's different strokes for different folks, I'm also a little confused about the "losing suspension travel" thing too... When I bought my KW's the only name that was mentioned was Vorshlag, of course GC had nothing offered at the time though. After having the Vorshlags for a while i wouldn't trade them for anything, unless someone could prove 100% that their product was a better performing alternative. I will admit GC has amazing machining quality and would like to see some other bit and pieces made by them.

It really is quite simple, because of where the pillow ball sits; Above the shock tower vs below as with every other offering, you have more available piston travel with the GC plates. You must remember that the actual pillow ball and camber plate is occupying space above the damper shaft taking up ever so valuable piston stroke. Another advantage is that if you desire, you can run that much less static ride height while still maintaining more travel then the other plates. This is no revelation, other companies have done this, but it is more expensive and requires more engineering/time. Personally, I think GC is getting too little credit for putting so much more effort in to developing a real plate for these cars, and addressing the disadvantage of taking the quick and easy path to market. In my opinion GC's coil-overs are overshadowing the real hot ticket in the GC product line. This does not mean that all the other plates are "bad" but increased travel and adjust-ability are advantages...
