VSS wire for apple car play

Hi All,

I have a question about how and where to wire the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) wire off the back of my Kenwood. I've tried looking at the wiring diagrams that have been shared on the forum, but I'm not familiar with reading them. Would someone mind helping me figure out which wire connecting to the gauge cluster I should be using?

Thanks in advance,
MemphisR

I got a new kenwood and was having some issues with my garage door not showing up in CarPlay when I approach my house. I assumed it had to do with the VSS pink wire I left disconnected. I also heard that the VSS sensor is no longer needed for CarPlay to work. I also did research and found that damn VSS sensor location and eventually connected it. I saw no change in the kenwood's ability with it wired. Let me see if I can pull the site I used with the wire color location of it behind the stereo. 2014 BRZ btw...

I didn't see my original site but I saw the post above mine linked to the 28pin, and it was number 17 there.
