Is the stock ROM labeled as Original File in the first slot of list of tunes in the OpenFlash Manager?

Euro V4

Does anyone know if there will be made v4 tunes for euro-models?
Improved throttle-map sounds good. The current v2 one is a bit aggressive, and i suspect it messes with the rev-matching on my auto.

There's no throttle map changes in V2 or V4. The AVCS maps can play havoc on AT particularly if you have a shorter FD or EL though.

According to their website, v4 will provide "Remapped throttle tables." But if it is the valve control doing the damage it won't matter. I'm guessing that most of the midrange boost in power comes from changing that system.

I'm back to driving stock now because of this issue, and i really miss the extra midrange torque.

Only for MY17 and only for 6MT, which is what their dev car would be.

The 6AT doesn't respond well to turning the throttle into an on/off switch which is what people around here would refer to as "more responsive". You can work around most hardware, but it takes very subtle changes and patience.

The V4 tunes are based on euro/Aus spec files. If you wanted you could copy the OEM throttle strategy into the V4 file to see how it runs.... It's only 5 tables or so.

Huh, is that why the EVAP pressure OBD PID on them is dead?

The Euro V4 tunes released like a month ago on the website.

I've used ZA1JA01I as an example but just type in your needed CalId in the searchbar

V4 A01I

Don't use the supplied OFT def's to edit them (they are outdated), use a modified def from Wayno, Steve99 or Kodename47

The tune for my calid haven't been released yet, but I'll give it some time. Hopefully it will fix the problem. The rough shifts i get from v2 are not worth the extra power.

the v4 for k00g euro MT is SO bad that is embarassing
not only it does make car slower than stock, it also knocks like -2 / -3 everywhere
i ask myself if they actually try them to some euro cars before releasing it or just randomly suppose they *could* work but they have no idea how they behave in the actual cars

specially stage1 and stg2+ are particularly bad
