I went with 18x9.5+38 and going for a 255/35. 245 will be too much stretch and 265 is too much meat for me hahaha. Hope you get them, what colour were you looking at?

Need some advice! 18x9.5 with 255s how much negative offset can I run? I'm pretty low but I've been on 17x9 with 245 and I'm running -28 offset. The 18x9.5s I just got are -38 but I don't want to keep switching spacers all the time, can I run -23 F and -28 rear without rubbing on the fender like mad? I have -3 F camber too.

I have ARP studs and 5,10 and 15mm spacers but I don't want to shuffle them around when I go back in forth between my 17 and 18" set-ups.

I think you mean positive offset. Not many negative offset wheels. Our car does not fit wheels like a s14 240sx sadly... It also depends on what tire you are planning to run.

I'm on 18x9.5 +34 on 255/35 with around -2.9f/-2.7r camber. I rub on the bumper tabs on the rear and front clears. If you can rephrase the question with what tire size you plan to run, maybe I can give a better example. But for 9.5's, mid to high 30's and low 40's positive offset it what is needed without extreme(4+) camber.

Since Im turbo, I am wanting a staggered street set. Im thinking about ordering 18x9+47(max available) R Disc / 18x10+48 A Disc on 265/35 and 285/35 respectively. I want to run minimal camber on the street set. I am digging the bronze barrels with GT silver discs. What did you go with? Matte black discs on polished barrels? Looks good!

I run -3.0deg square on my square set of 17x9+35 WedsSports on 245/40. These are currently my dailies/track set. Soon to be track only with 255/40 R888r's

Heres some shots of what I have to play with. I can come in as much as 1.5" on the rear before making contact with the E-brake cable or fender liner and about 1.25" up front on the Ohlins.

I dont think I will have any issues with fitment unless someone wants to chime in.

Those offsets seem to be high. +35 on a 9" would be flush with the fenders, so somewhere around there would be better. If you are looking at 265 in the front, why not use a 9.5" et38 up front? the 18x10 is done with a +40 to +44 so the +48 isn't that bad, but I would be worried about rubbing the inside with camber added especially with that wide of a tire. Unless you want the tucked look/looking to use spacers to get the fitment you want?

I know they seem high, but my 17x9+35 TC105Ns poke up front. I have to have -2.0/2.5 camber up front to bring them flush. And I only want to run about -0.5 camber on this setup up front. I would also prefer to have a little tuck to compensate for meaty tire bulge. While I know a 9.5 will fit up front, I just see it as unnecessary weight.

In the back, I already measured (see pics above) and should plenty of room. Ill be running close to zero camber so it shouldnt come anywhere near the coilover. Im trying to stay out of contact with the fender with this offset basically. Think a +40 would be better?

Really need help, I have 265/35/18 Federal RSRRs in the rear on a 18x9.5+30 wheel, its rubbing the fender A LOT. I'm on Tein Flex Z with no LCA or camber bolts, my car is dropped. Do i need to raise or lower the car to make them fit?

Raising the car may not help. When I was still on OE control arms, -2" ride height gave me -2.5deg natural camber. Going up to -1" ride height made my natural camber -1.7deg. I would think you would still be eating your fender. Better solution may be adj lower control arms to add more negative camber.

My friend had the same setup I had and he didn't rub before he got LCA. He said his ride height was higher than mine and they fit, do you think itll be fine?

as i said in the original post, EVERY CAR is different, even if its the same model.

i can't stress dialing in some camber enough. +30 is quite aggressive for that tire to be practical in my opinion. i was running +40 with same specs and that was tight fitment. You should roll your fenders to gain some clearance if you'd like and then pull some more camber all around.

or go to a 255/35 tire. you can also raise it a bit to help elevate some rub.

^ +1, I heard that a lot when trying to decide if I needed to get adjustable rear LCAs. Ended up going with SPC LCAs for like $200 installed.

No problems here, but I guess my setup isn't as aggressive as yours. 17x9 +35 with 255/40 tires on Tein Monosport with minimum drop (.5" I think?).

Finally joining the club!

SPECS:
Rays Gramlights 57xtreme
Front: 18x8.5+45 w/ MPSS 235/40/18
Rear: 18x9.5+40 w/ MPSS 265/35/18
Factory alignment specs
Lowered ~1" front, ~0.75" rear (due to tire rubbing in rear, need to add a bit more camber)

I have a question regarding the size of tires I'll get.
Im planning on buying another members ambit re02. I have 1" lowered springs and stock struts.
I like a little meaty tire but also doesnt want to have issues on rubbing. What is the best tire setup I should go for?
Appreciate it.
