Awesome!! Do you use 5th gear because it's the strongest driveline?
(For those that aren't familiar with this transmission, the 5th gear is a direct drive straight off the crank, through the input and output shafts into the prop shaft).

I guess you're not going to tell anyone how you ensure those rocker pins stay in?

Yeah given I broke 4th gear with less power under racing conditions I decided that 5th would be safer as it should be a little stronger. This dyno reads about 10% low also (baseline oem was 153 whp).

So where on the East Coast are we going to be able to see this thing on a track this coming year? Will you be posting a schedule?

We haven't made an announcement but we picked up a corporate sponsor and wI'll bring the FRS to the next level where we'll race against some of the fastest TT1 and TTU Vipers, Z06s, and GTRS in the Whelen USTT Championship and also a round or few of Global Time Attack. So places like Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, VIR, NJ Motorsports, Pittsburgh International, and maybe NOLA and Ohio.

The car is still so much lighter than the competition which worries me a little since these classes are "power to weight" ratio based.

Phil - Is there enough piston to valve clearance for a ratio rocker arm?

We visited Moto East today to look at the heads, rocker arms... etc. There is a TON of development in doing a set of ratio rocker arms but we have a lot of experience under our belt.

Hi Phil any updates on how your modded rockers are holding up as looking at some of mine they look like the top rocker

Could I send you my rockers to be modded and what is the cost involved ?

Regards sam

I'm thinking a spot welded tab, connected to the rocker at the outer ends so as not to affect the strength of the main stressed parts of the pressed steel?

Was there any update on this from Element Tuning?

Follow Element Tuning's page on Facebook. Phil is pretty responsive on there. Element Tuning built my motor and its running fine with up to 22 psi of boost.
