Yea I'm running tomei uel, motiv op, and motiv catless non resonated fp with n1 cat back. Wonder if I put a catted fp if that will get rid of some of it,right now it's pretty noticible, especially anywhere I can hear the echo off a building or something

How does it sound? The Q300 is a bit quiet for me right now so I'm wondering if a FP would be worth it to make an audible difference.

The sound of my current set up is perfect for my taste, but I don't know how much catless FP will make yours louder. I would assume slight increase.

Slight increase. When I added my straight front pipe my exhaust got a tad louder, but not much. I have the SP Elite though.

Still waiting on FT86SF to deliver the goods, then I'll have my UEL and OP to modify the sound. Right now it's pretty flat, but some people have said that their front pipe combined with an aftermarket muffler makes a little rumble.

So thanks to guys up at Circuit Motorsports, it is confirmed that I'm just paranoid. And the noise I hear is normal.

Lol

What is your fear? There is nothing wrong with running the oem midpipe and axle back.

I made 360whp on a full stock exhaust with oem header. And I then later went turbo with a forged engine with a stock midpipe... 0 fucks given. The oem midpipe isn't actually too bad.

I've always been a turbo guy so I've always done as little restrictions as possible. I guess this being my first NA car I was worried about "too much" back pressure from running an aftermarket header op and for into the stock midlife back? Idk man I'm paranoid.

Ignore the back pressure debate. Back pressure post collector in the header doesn't matter. That myth afaik started way back with a study done when adjusting back pressure with a carburetor. I have yet to see low end power loss on this car from going form a stock midpipe to a 3" catless bastard exhaust. =)

Do I'm not getting any power loss. But I'm getting this pretty troubling noise when I let off thottle. I'm gonna post a video here in a second
