Custom interior questions..

1. I want to bond the radio/dash trim pieces together so I can wrap them as one unit. How is this done? Fiberglass? Do you glue them together in the back with something? I know its hard to get things to stick to plastic...

2. I want to fill the indentation on the center console where the heated seat switches go before I wrap it. Should I use a block of wood and bondo? Is there a epoxy I can poor in it? What's the best method there?

No just 2 lazy to type it out.

Clamp the 2 radio halves together, the use a torch/lighter and melt the flanges together. Use a metal spoon/knife/spreader after melting the plastic to push it together. Do this until the 2 halves are one. Then on the front side use a bit of filler/sanding to make it smooth. I personally used duraglass becuase it is a bit stonger than regular bodyfiller.

Block of balsa or pine wood cut to shape, then use fiberglass resin to fuse it to the center console. Finish with filler and wrap.

What are you trying to wrap the dash with? Color wise. Is it gonna looks that much better without the gap? And depending on color you might see the difference in colors when bonding it together. They have very nice plaques you can put in that center spot. Or yeah Kia get some spackle shit hah

i guess it would prevent tearing in the alcantara/vinyl during removal but idk if it makes much visual difference on the alcantara side. vinyl you might be able to see thru depednign on color.

You mean wrapping it as a single piece without bonding the two halves together? Yeah, that would not be a good idea for any kind of wrap.
