I've heard the Tomei and Borla in person and fell in love with the Borla. Shit was rumbly and loud as fuuuccckkkk, but I've heard issues with the consistency of its durability, so I would advise against it in that manner.

I loved my Revworks UEL back before I went turbo. Great quality and they use very thick metal, which helps kill the rasp.

This was just the header and 4" muffler Nameless axle back.

Haha I've seen these videos before. It wasn't too loud with the 4" mufflers?

I've watched countless setups on youtube and can't really tell a difference in the amount of rumble because of different cameras and setups. That's why I want to know if there's someone who has heard multiple setups in real life that can chime in if there's a difference in sound between different headers, as opposed to just horsepower gains.

All three of them should sound almost exactly the same.

I did some research about UEL's and I'm torn between JDL and Tomei. They provide the best gains from what I've seen.

I've had Borla UEL and OFH. OFH is definitely more aggressive sounding, at least with my configuration (catted front pipe but stock catback).

Cold start was the only noise complaint I had. Other then that is was perfect.

I'd suggest tho OFH and the OFT tune for it and call it a day.

JDL wins based on having a lifetime warranty alone... only downside is the lead time, but to me it's worth it.

But a lifetime warranty has nothing to do with "Rumbly."

No, but it justifies the cost difference and having easy coating options straight from them is a win-win imo.

Tomei and JDL are good choices if you just want rumbly ignoring all other aspects.

Doing our best with that...We've built over 40 headers in the past 3 weeks. Don't want to get ahead of myself but we should have standard UEL's in stock by weeks end.

My JDL UEL, overpipe and catted front pipe mated to a Greddy SP Elite is pretty rumbly. Similar to a EJ engine with aftermarket catback.

S/C helps the whole "noise" thing too :P
