Any areas of interest near COTA (Austin, TX)?
Hi folks!
So I'll be visiting from California for a track day next Friday at Circuit of the Americas and was wondering if any of the Texas folks had any good recommendations for places to eat or visit near that area?

Check out 6th street for food and bars in downtown. Also if you can deal with the wait Franklin Barbecue is some of the best in the country.

Plenty, what type of food are you looking for? Pm me if needed. At a minimum I'd hit up some good BBQ while in town for sure. Do you know if they are going to allow people to just hang out and watch?

lockhart isn't far from cota, so going to original blacks won't take long.

And most tracks allow spectators for a small entry fee ($10-20) but I'm not sure if COTA specifically has the same policy or not...

Just wanted to say thanks again for the suggestions! I ended up going to Original Black's BBQ in Lockheart and it was as good as advertised!
