RC-F (fast, comfy and super nice)

A new Vette (best sportscar within your budget)

I think those would be great options for you...

Also if you can wait...wait and see what the Ford Mustang GT350 is like?

Hellcat Challenger... (if you wanna just be stupid fast and comfortable...won't handle extremely well though)

Of course the BRZ is a great car...

STi (great car)

Lotus Evora (you can get a used one for 50k-ish)

But if money is not really in play here...

Buy an uprated car...don't but a BRZ and then drop a ton of money into it while trying to make it into something its not.

The Twins are great budget sportscars that have GREAT feel and feedback.

A Porsche is too fancy but a GT-R is ok? Um...

In that price range I'd go Cayman GTS all day long.

I will throw two more options at you. Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru WRX STI. Both cars feel way more raw than the BMW/Lexus but are also practical enough to be daily drivers.

This is an interesting take on a GTR vs Evo:
You're right. I just got back from the Lexus dealer and I started to feel the Lexus was a bit plush. That, and I don't know how happy I would be with the auto. And if I'm having doubts on the auto, then that means the GT-R is up in the air as we'll.

I also stopped at a Subaru dealer earlier today and took a look at the new STI... Did not feel at home for some reason. I'd pick the STI over the current Evo if I had a choice. And I'd pick a Evo IX over both if it were still available new, because of that raw feel.

Saw one as I visited the Jaguar / Lotus dealer today... Did look very sweet.

I figured you would mention that... Don't know why but I found the older IS F more attractive with it being proven and improved for several years now.

Yes, you're right. Though for some reason I feel the IS F is toned down since the body and interior style has been largely unchanged since the release... Other Lexus models progressed with a more and more luxury feel in comparison, I feel.

When I sat and drove one, it feels like a high-quality and advanced Nissan with the tech gizmos. Other than that, the BMW's feel too rich for me.

Whatever I get, I won't modify unless I start tracking in the car... And even in that case, I would modify brake fluid, pads, and tires... Not much else. I'll keep it OEM stock for the most part.

Thank you everyone for the continued guidance. Btw. Here's a pic of an Evora I looked at within my local Lotus dealer. Everything looked great although not equipped with a true manual.

Similar pricing I suppose, but by fancy I mean more high class... I feel uncomfortable when I'm surrounded by a higher class vehicle, and the Porsche would make me feel that way while not matching my personality as well. If I would give the Porsche a chance, the 911 would be it since I need the back seats even if space is limited.

What do you guys think of the Evora I posted above? Pretty exotic looking, eh? Need to test drive a used one to find out more.

Lotus Evora or Jaguar F-type coupe!

Two of the prettiest cars ever made! :-)

I suggest a evo x, but the special action model coming next year with more power. Best that only a limited amount will be made, cars been in production for almost 8 years, power, awd, boost, backseats, it has its own presence on the street, nothing else looks like it. what else you want

Looks like it is going to be the last year to purchase a Lotus Evora in the US according to Car & Driver so it has that limited appeal

I agree.

Local dealer has allocations open for the remainder of inventory left at the port. As @FiRStsc10n mentioned, looks like production has officially stopped for the Evora in the US.

Even though its not a manual, I still have to vote for the GTR.
