Jesse,

I'd like my water fittings ship directly to

SURFAB
6/5 Tanner Street
Woolston
Christchurch 8023
NEW ZEALAND
Ph +64 27 2222 583

If you could also include Tial male flange to suit the turbine housing and two Tial v bands, one to suit manifold to turbo and one to suit turbo to downpipe.

The clamps were included, but they were "Clampco" and didn't look any good, certainly not as good as Tial ones.

They are to replace the items I have had to borrow from someone.

Thankyou.

Cheers Mike

Should have my uel base turbo kit with full 3 inch exhaust tomorrow...
I will be getting to the dyno soon. Probably gonna run stock fueling on the dyno on 93 to see what we end up with before upgrading.

Got the cat back today...
This kit is killer. The wait sucked, but the parts are worth it. I have worked for race teams and I tig weld, this fab work is top notch.

Dropped all my parts and exhaust to the ceramic coaters today. Shit, that stuff aint cheap. $800 to do the kit and the entire exhaust.

Put the drain in the oil pan...

Coating takes 4 business days :muchsad:
Semi-related; have been following a few people, including Toyota Racing NZ with their TR86, it seems that everyone, no matter what they do with the pan and pickup, still experiences surge. We think its more to do with the boxer layout, than the pan. Thats why my mate went dry sump in his EJ, as it acted the same way.
I dont want to run dry sump in the street car, so going to run accusump instead. While looking at car today, few places to put it. Either side of intercooler, behind motor beside gearbox; but found easiest place would be one top of OEM tie bars. Then decided might as well make new tie bars and strut bar, and mount accusump to that.

Quick drawing of what I'm thinking...

I ran accusumps on both my exiges and they work well. Do me a favour and either keep this thread up to date with the accusump install or start a new one. Think it'll only be a matter of time before I go down the same route.
In the meantime I've been thinking about getting one of these made up for the FA20 engine as they worked well on my Spec C Impreza lump.

Figured I would add another dyno to the thread. I tuned @evo4g63's fr-s this past weekend. Car has a JDL EL kit with PTE 5558, and Tomei 3" exhaust on E60 with semi-conservative timing.

I'll be ordering one of those Monday morning. You not getting one? Worked a treat for me in the past and these boxer engines need all the help they can get.
