I do agree with that. But we aren't out of our minds, not all of us are car gods like you. But if OP can get that package for 5k shipped then that's a deal!

I may have to ask you for that coupon code if I ever decide to pull the trigger on this kit? You know it requires any cutting or anything to install this kit?

And to OP, I made 360WHP with a bad tune on E85. 300WHP is no problem on a vortech. I did this with a stock exhaust & header.

But it's incredibly easy to create an account on and is worth making one just to follow businesses for coupons, discounts etc, even my Amex provides cash back for a few keystrokes. No harder than signing up for a forum account. If you can't be bothered to spend 2 minutes to help yourself then why should I? Everyone is looking for a deal but nobody is actually willing to do the legwork to find one. |

Back on topic... the Vortech kit does not require you to decimate your front crash beam, no. It does require you to grind down an aluminum nub on the stock alternator bracket.
It also requires you to remove your OEM washer fluid reservoir and piece together a replacement. A number of people have struggled during installation to keep the replacement from leaking. If a simple installation is a top priority for you, check out Jackson. Their kit is ugly as sin, but that's because they require zero drilling, tapping, grinding, or replacing of OEM parts. |

Most people will tell you the most difficult part of the install is drilling the bumper beam for the intercooler mounting. It does require a decently high powered drill and good drill bits, as the bumper beam is strong, solid steel. Other than that, it should be as easy or easier than every other system out there. We list 6 hours on the install. Some people have done it in less, some people have taken longer. If you would like, you can preview the entire installation manual HERE.
If you have any other questions, I would be happy to answer them. In addition, many of the enthusiasts on here running Vortech systems are extremely knowledgeable as well, and quick to help out when needed. (Thanks guys!) |

At times I wish I went with the Innovate kit which looks like a painless afternoon install with no . But I think the performance and proper intercooled setup you get with the Vortech is worth the difference in price and time required to install. I have been doing the install 100% by myself and taking my time to make sure it is all perfect, as a result I probably have about 8-10 hrs invested with about 2-4 hrs left to put the whole thing back together (doesnt help that the garage I'm working in is freezing!). An extra hand will go a long way with this install. |

After swapping to the 3.12 pulley, I got 346 whp and 246trq on the Phastek dyno. Still on the stock clutch, the supercharger is more forgiving on the drivetrain than the turbo!

Got any numbers on 91/93 octane? I'm curious to see what I may be pushing (3.125" pulley)
