Okay so it's safe to say that it's about $1000 for everything? Programming kit + racerom add-on...

Roughly that. Some vendors have a sale. IIRC @Visconti had race rom on sale the other day.

All RacRom upgrades are done manually , and can only be done when EcuTek is open.

So if you paid for the RaceRom upgrade you'll likely have it on Monday.

This is all noted on the product info on my webstore

Yes the standard version doesn't allow you to adjust RaceRom maps, to have access you have to buy the upgrade

ahhh nothing really, just messing around. It has more than enough to screw with. But i had overlooked custom maps were a racerom only feature.
