Man, these are looking good! I might have to do this when the snow clears up.
I had a few questions though. How many cans should I expect to use to dip my whole car? How many layers to be safe? I have no experience painting cars, would I be able to handle a job like this by myself? |

I wouldnt use cans to do a whole car, you'd be better off to get a nice consistant layer to use a gun...

Hmm, that sounds a bit intimidating. Plus, I don't have any of that on hand. How much would I be looking to spend? Would I be better off having it professionally done?

professionally its around 1k from what I've seen and not really worth it as you can pick up the skills pretty quick My frs was my first car and its kinda meh but I've done a couple more to a much better effect. @digital_assassin car is done pretty flawless and I think he is new at dipping as well http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11411

Pic of my car at the Paul Walker/Roger Rodas memorial. Dipped wheels and lip kit. I absolutely love plasti-dip, such an awesome product...
