EcuTek releases new Windows 8 compatible Installer !

After months of testing Visconti Tuning is pleased to announce EcuTek's new seamless Windows software installer.

This installer is 100% Windows 8 Compatible, no work around needed !

This software installer is for new EcuTek installations and will not need to be ran if ProECU is already installed.

The new redesigned EcuTek App Downloader Setup is now live and available for download from the EcuTek website.
www.ecutek.com\downloads

Or directly from here:
http://www.ecutek.co...ldInstaller.exe

This is what it looks like:

All the software and drivers are now digitally signed for security, which means no more scary security warning messages (Windows XP will still show driver warning messages and found new hardware wizards).

The software should now show this friendlier message when you run our software:

If anyone has any questions of problem please feel free to contact me.

-John

I got Win8 for free. Been running it for almost a year now. Much better than Win7.

I have the Samsung ATIV 700T (Lablet? Tabtop?) with Windows 8. Replaced my Asus Infinity and Asus Zenbook Prime. Has been fantastic so far.

I run windows 8 on my desktop too, but I also got that copy for 15$ lol.

Running Win 8 on both laptop and desktop. Once everyone gets over the small differences in the shortcuts, I like it a lot. Runs smooth, boots even faster.

Nope... Needs to be Windows installed in an X86 system. Smartphones run on ARM types of processors. ARM processors are not complatible with the full version of Windows. If you want something mobile that will flash ECUTek, you are looking at either a netbook/laptop, macbook that virtualizes Windows or the new Windows tablets that can run Win 8 Pro.

Stylus just like they said from the get go... Your not buying an iPad (plenty of cons for using those, touch is not one of them)

ah yes how could i forget the stylus. the stylus is a design smell. if your user needs one, your design is wrong.
