Can I also point out were in a post about adding a depletable system to make the most out of this kit, and one of the rebuttals are "we're not in it for the most power?"

Tell their marketing that. They may not go under but I'm betting some people's jobs are on the line.

Also where are you getting this "no maintenance for 35k" where does it get its oil from?

If you'd like. Not sure what your point is though. If he wanted higher numbers, he could have gone turbo.

the car doesn't really need that much more power, it doea need torque though and this kit delivers a fairly good deal for those that DD their cars and don't plan on more power.
You can pick up a vortech kit with no tuning for around 3,700 you can pick one up with tuning but no ecutek for 4165, u can pick up one with tuning and ecutek for 4600... I'm not seeing your 2k difference.

There is no need to argue about it, pick what you like. I think it's another good option for the car. The price is right on par for this level of performance.

Honestly, like so many others, I did expect a bit more though. I will just have to wait and see how it pans out, there is still an intercooled kit out there in the wild to dyno, and who knows what a smaller pulley might do.

I prefer the word debate, or bicker over argue, I would like to think if push comes to shove I'd rather have a beer then a yelling match.

Its internally lubricated. It does not need to be changed until 30k miles. If you look on the top of the charger right behind the pulley, there is a small screw, which is the dipstick and fill hole.

I remember when Vortechs were dynoing just below 200whp...

Just give it some time. There are a lot of great kits out there and they all draw on different performance, cost, and maintenance dynamics. The Innovate kit was the best option for me at this point in time.

Really? The first blower I got put down 225whp, the second makes 252whp. I don't remember any before that...I could be wrong, feel free to link to a sub 200whp Vortech chart.

I do agree that the innovate kit will get better over time though, we haven't even seen the intercooled kit yet.

That was on the first blower, the innovate kit has been 'testing' for a year now, I doubt its going to get much more power on this setup. Hopefully the intercooled version will net a decent bumper in power

here:

i'm not talking about what you can find from someplace at a christmas time I'm talking about the msrp posted by vortech vs msrp posted by innovate where both kits provide cables and tunes.

I'm sure once the innovate kit is on a market as long as vortech is you will be able to find some good deals on it as well

as for the service period @Opposed already answered, but this info can also be found in this thread which i've read from first to last page:
