Does Subaru paint the FRS?

Since the paint code's are the same for both BRZ and FRS, is it fair to assume Subaru paint's both these cars? Or does Toyota paint the FRS?

They all come from the same Subaru Gunma factory in Japan. The only difference are the lava ones get the Toyota/Scion branding/seats/headlights and the WR Blue Pearl ones get the Subaru branding/seats/headlights.

They are literally the same car made at the same time right down to much of the unused wiring still being installed. They only become each of the 15(?) different worldwide models when the different parts are slapped on at various different operations stations. They don't make separate runs for each version. Could be BRZ, FRS, GT86, GT86, FRS, FT86, BRZ, BRZ, BRZ, GT86 and so on going down the line all at the same time.

Believe it or not, the car is about 50% Toyota and 50% Subaru, despite the circle jerk that we (FRS driver's) drive Subbies.

Hey Lup come across to Windsor some time and I will take you through the Chrysler minivan plant. You will see how it would be impossible to assemble a car and paint it later. Real offer not a joke.

Ya you are. You are also driving a Subarau .
And ...
If you get down to the real nitty gritty you are driving just a little bit of a Mitsubishi as well. (If we are calling out parts)

Well technically speaking Mitsu MAKES more of the car than Toyota! I do not believe that Toyota MAKES anything they just design and buy stuff then assemble it. Really goes to how far down the line you want to define the "makes" part.
