1320 Performance Headers Review

Anyone with the 1320 headers have any reviews on them?

I have a friend of mine that's running the 1320 in his FRS. He likes to Rev it out and has taken it to the mountains a few times, so he drives it pretty hard. He hasn't had any issues with it. He did use the grimmspeed gaskets for the install as well. I'm looking to get one soon.

I just installed my headers on my BRZ and have a problem with the header to overpipe gasket. I put a grimspeed one but it doesn't seem to fit flush and created an exhaust leak. Not sure what to do. Can't get it flush any way I try.

He did say that the overpipe to header is a little weird with the 1320 and suggested getting an aftermarket overpipe when getting the 1320. Let me ask him and see what's up

I got the 1320 overpipe and it fits flush but the gasket almost seems too thin because there is a leak. Ask him if he just used one or two please!

He didn't get the 1320 overpipe, but he did only use one gasket between the overpipe and header. You might need to do some fine tuning to make it work. If push comes to shove, then use two and hopefully that would work

I'm the friend with the 1320 header. I installed header, then over pipe, then front pipe in that order.

I made sure the the header/op fit correct before bolting back up the oem front pipe. Idk if when installed with the front pipe on make its harder to line up the over pipe or what, but that's the way I did it and I haven't had any issues yet.

I'm pretty against the Grimmspeed gaskets on any connection on our car as I've had them leak like crazy for no reason... I'd recommend using a Remflex 6005 instead. Requires the holes to be modified slightly to fit, but no leaks.

I'm starting to believe that, the groom speed are a perfect fit, yet when I tighten everything down I still have a leak in the gasket will still move in between the flanges

And your tightening down all the way? If so, the gasket should not move between the flanges. You didn't pull the gasket apart did you? I believe it's referred to as a crush gasket, so its many gaskets put together that crush together the more you tighten. I could see where the mistake could be made

No I Took it directly from the bag I received it and put it between the pipes and tightened it up. When I started up the car I still got a slight leak from the pipe. I just used a universal 2.5 gasket from grimspeed

Grimmspeed is almost the same size as oem so idk why it moves freely between flanges after you have tightened everything. This is also how the GS gaskets should look, might want to double check yours or try with an oem gasket.

After that, if it still isnt fixed, its time to check the flanges and make sure they are not warped or anything.
