Owners over 40

How many of us at there? What's you're spouse gf think about the car. What have you owned before

I've seen a few drivers on the road in my car who looked older than 35. Not seen very many women driving them. My wife loves the car, fact she stole it today. She can drive shit out of it too. I've owned four bangers and V8s. My last car was a 2002 GT. I traded it because u have no more garage space for it. I've had Transams Z24s 4wd trucks. Love cars and wish I had a ton. Next were planning on a Corvette

I'm 44 and my wife doesn't like my car at all. She says it's uncomfortable (ride and seats) and is too loud (3" catless TBE). Since she doesn't like it means I get to drive it all the time, though! As for previous cars: tC, G8 GT, Eclipse GSX, EVO 9, EVO 8, Eclipse GS, 78 Camaro, Bugs and several other cars. Not sure what my next car will be; I'm having too much fun with this car, but maybe a Vette as well.

I think there are quite a few of us out there.

My wife was all for it. After having had to drive appliances for the ten years previously, she was happy for me to have a car I was excited about. The FR-S was also the first brand-new car I've owned (not including the Yaris we bought for my wife). She doesn't drive it because she can't drive a stick and isn't particularly interested to learn, but she loves it for road trips. Her only complaint is climbing in and out in a skirt.

I think my love of the car benefits from the fact that it was such a step up from what I drove for the decade prior, and it matched my memories of my old Celica I had in college while being better in nearly every way.

Above ground for the past 53 years. Wife hates the car. Been fortunate to have owned a few nice cars in the past.

Car wives are freaking awesome. I think our first date conversation was about her old impala convertible. I considered a 370Z, a Genesis Coupe. The Genesis Coupe six cyl pulls some impressive numbers. I never looked at them after driving the FRS. The wife says it reminds her of her old Miata

49 here. The wife loves my car.

When I told her I wanted to get a sports car she was fine with it once I wasn't a **** about her driving it. Once kid #2 goes to university she will be getting a new car and if it's available she likes the look of the SF-R.

Over 55 and the wife despises "that little death trap".

Had many cool cars. (There are about 5 threads on that subject already)

42 here and this is my first sports car. It is my daily driver. I've owned Hondas, BMW ti, A4 2.8 quattro, Acura TL. I've never felt connection to any other car like I have with this one. Still wish I had a little more power though; may fix that next year.

My wife loves the look of it, but doesn't care to drive it so much, although she can certainly handle it.

I thought you guys would be talking about getting eye exams, reaction time tests, neck flexibility checks/back up cameras. How you do squats so that you can have the strength to push the clutch. Glad you guys can still have fun even though you're now old, grumpy, and stopped having sex 15 years ago.
/sarc

I approve of this thread. BTW, the only weird thing I've ever seen on the road was an older gentleman in an STI that was boy-racered. It just looked more wrong than if it had been a younger person.
