Flossy shifter knobs - SCAM Avoid at all cost

This is kinda tragic ... a few months ago I placed a large order of shifter knobs
from flossy ...

Well ... Lesson learned, after a few months of chasing after Chad, I haven't received anything and he's gone to avoiding my emails etc ...

Sad ... looked like he had good stuff

Need more info. Avoid Flossy shifter knobs is very vague. Where did you order from or what vendor?

From what I've gathered, most people have had a bad experience with them in recent times.

Hey guys I highly recommend Billetworkz. I ended up getting a "red head" equivalent from them and their customer service was excellent. The only negative thing was it took a few weeks to ship because they were on backorder. If you're concerned about Flossy (like I was) then check out www.billetworkz.com . I got my knob before summer and still love it! https://www.instagram.com/p/45KFoLqBn2/

I cant speak from buying experience but after looking through all 50+ pages on the shift knob thread I can confirm the issue was brought up a lot.

Well, as a more recent review, I bought my shorty black grip tape and the shift pattern with BRZ logo underneath. It arrived and wouldn't screw down all the way. I couldn't figure out why, until I looked at the threading, which only went halfway down the shaft. I e-mailed and he didn't respond, then e-mailed again the following week and had a response within one day, saying that another would be shipped out. I'll update this whenever I have it.

Either way, this is why I use PayPal backed up by American Express. If PayPal refuses to fix issues, AmEx always will.

From my experience with them, they seem pretty responsive on emails and questions. I received my red heard shorty knob and have not have any issues..

I've had my grip tape shorty for over 2 years and never had an issue. They were responsive when I inquired about one for my gf's brz as well.

hit up Chris at WC LatheWerks if you're open to other shift knobs. this guy is a magician with lathing and his customer service/support is top notch. not the cheapest in price, but also not the most expensive either, but quality is right there with the best.

Well, my replacement knob came in. It's drilled properly this time. The engraving is still a touch off but not awful.

I had far less issues back when I had one made for my STi and I think it was cheaper back then. I dunno, I wouldn't go with Flossy again honestly, but they make a good knob... when they make a good knob, lol.

ordered directly from him, at this point as this was for a group order unfortunately ( fro him) one of the members of the group is a lawyer who has friends with jurisdiction in California, he'll probably get served with papers soon ...

Also recently bought a billetworkz shift knob, ordered it on black friday, got a blue galaxy shift knob (in build thread w/ pictures in my signature). I think it looks clean, you can also get it with custom text, they sell them also with "BRZ" with the 6 speed shift pattern. I just got mine plain to get a nice look of the color, it looks amazing in person.
