So I installed the Intec carbon tail lights and also purchased a new relay. Before installing the relay I tested the lights, but noticed to my surprise that they did not hyperblink. I still have not installed the new relay, but I was wondering if I should just count my lucky stars and be grateful I didn't have the problem or if there was something that I should be possibly concerned about.

Intec (and also valenti) tail lights have resistors built in so a relay isn't needed. But keep the relay and if you ever install indicator LED bulbs it will work for them.
