Need a new exhaust

I finally got headers for my full exhaust system.
I full catless now. I currently have the spec d exhaust which is very similar to the Nvidia n1 exhaust. It is a super loud setup.
I was wondering of there was another exhaust out there that will quiet my car down a bit.
I'd like a cat back system (I think I heard they are better than axle back performance wise).
Any suggestions? I could get resonators added but I don't know if that's a good idea or not.

Thanks in advance for any responses

A huge part of why your car is so loud is the catless overpipe. Put the stock one back and that will quiet things down a LOT. If it's still too loud for you, take a look at Perrin, Invidia Q300, or TRD exhausts. I love quiet, deep exhaust setups, and these are definitely your best bet. But the catless overpipe is what's making it super loud.

Don't expect any performance difference from anything in the exhaust other than the catless header + tune. Rest of it is just noise.

So if I get a catted op it shouldn't reduce performance? That was a big concern.
And I am wondering what the q300 sounds like with full catless setup.

It will reduce performance a little, but not nearly like the stock header does. Not enough to really matter IMHO if you are concerned about noise. It also reduces a lot of rasp. You can also get front pipes with high flow cats that would be a compromise between the two, like the JDL ultra quiet front pipe.

A catted op doesn't exist. But you could always get a resonated front pipe or a catted and resonated front pipe like the nameless version. Or you could just bask in the raspy glory and annoy people?

Get a catted or resonated front pipe (or use the stock front pipe) and get a Q300 or resonated Perrin. Problem solved, problem staying solved.

Put the stock exhaust on for the time being, that's what I've done while I wait for a quieter exhaust to get delivered to me.

That's what I'm doing so far, but I'm paranoid of the cops more so than when I thought my aftermarket exhaust was loud.

Ah I didn't see you live in the Nazi state. :/

What set up do you have? I'd say put a quiet catback on, or get a custom fabricated front pipe to make it quieter.

I was all cheap for sound. Spec-d catback exhaust, isis downpipe, Megan racing test pipe, gruppe-s headers.
I don't mind the noise (actually I kind of love it) . I just don't think I can get away with it like I did with stock headers. I was hoping that the q300 could save me by itself. It's get tinny/raspy at wot, but otherwise it sounds so damn nice.

Quick question, I'm running a stock header, stock overpipe, front pipe and midpipe, with a custom Y pipe muffler delete starting just behind the resonator, would getting a decat front pipe make the car too loud? Possibly rasp or drone a lot?

Anyone know if there are any Perrin knock-offs/replicas out there?

I got my catback first, then I replaced the FP with a catless FP. The sound did not increase at all for me, or it was not a noticeable increase. Same with the downpipe, no noticeable increase in sound (except when both bolts/nuts came undone, lol).

When I installed the UEL, omg the noise level may have doubled.

If anything you could always add a resonator and a high flow cat to your current front pipe. That will quiet things down a bit without having to buy a whole new catback system.
