I have the "platinum" one. It's my first aftermarket shift knob and it's pretty nice. It's heavier and I like the smooth finish.
Downside is since it isn't leather, the elements affect it so it'll be super heated when the car is sitting in the sun all day or iceball when it's cold. Also, the blox collar at the bottom to cover the gap faded from black to bronze. I've seen this happen before on cheap chinese plastic/anodized parts that fade in the sun. |

Ball shaped. Didn't know there was a FRS specific one but I was mostly looking for a heavier weighted one. Anything in that weight range was $90+ so I went with Blox since they were cheaper.

I had the FR-S specific one (black) for awhile and loved it. I have large hands and it felt very good. I tried a moddiction sphere style and a Password JDM knob, but they felt too small. I kept going back to the BLOX.
Only downside was how incredibly hot it would get during the summer. Used a cover, but it would still get pretty hot. I have since switched to a Raceseng Sphereology knob which has become my new favorite. Feels great and doesn't get nearly as hot. The additional weight also helps with slightly smoother shifts. |
