ADVAN RZII Review.

Hey Everyone,

I was recently as SEMA and got a look at the new Advan RZII. They are really pushing these on the twins and personally I think it looks great on the car. I really love the new Racing Indigo Blue they are using on a lot of their wheels:

Made a quick video for you guys like normal. Sorry, my camera wasn't focused and I tried to isolate the sound post-recording, but didn't have a mic for both people.
The spec sheet is online, but obviously I didn't bring my scale with me

Hope you guys get something out of the vid. Reminder that I'm not selling wheels door to door right now. Just making the videos for info. Thanks!

They look nice, too bad the 17x9 have such a horrible offset. +52, how would that look. I'm running 17x9 +42 and they fill out the wheel wells nicely. That offset seems to be more for the new WRX.

These are wider than stock 17x7 +48's so they probably keep the scrub radius stock or near stock.

I'ts extra inch from both sides of wheel. So by +4mm offset for 17x9 means wheel is 21.4mm more outside then stock 17x7 +48. Horrible? :/

I'm basing it off my setup of 17x9 +42. It sits pretty flush with the fenders. At +55 this would be sucked in more than my setup. I like the wheels, just wish they offered more offset options.

This is a pic of my setup for reference 17x9 +42 225/40

I'm going to disagree, and say that 17x9 +52 will suck in 10mm more than a 17x9 +42. The inner lip will also sit 10mm closer to the strut housing.

Positive and negative offset are measured from the centerline of the wheel. So you're only looking at the numbers of 52 and 42. In this case, the lower number being "more poke".

It only works in the above example because the width is the same. Change the width of the wheel, and the centerline changes. A 17x8 +30 is the same poke as a 17x9 +42, but the inner lip on the 17x9 sits 25mm closer to the strut housing.

Very simple concept, highly confusing in text
