AVO FR-S

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a turbo on my car and the AVO kit looks really appealing as I love the UEL sound and the AVO looks like one of the best and most reliable out there. The only thing is that I want to be able to hear the turbo when I drive it! Can any current AVO drivers tell me if you can hear the turbo? (Spool, wastegate, bov, etc.). Thanks!

I don't have experience with turbos but if you look at the pics and specs for the kit you should be able to tell if it has an external wastegate and recirculating blow off valve

why avo more than any other available kit?

im not challenging, just curious because im on the market also for kit.

im towarding for the sdb (speed by design) kit, that is suposedly an exact copy of greddy one exept, 2 grand cheaper.

i dont know for other kit, but im following sdb kit owner group and it seem really reliable for the output.

im in canada also and because we have to add 30% more on the exchange and import fees i dont want to deal with problem.

The AVO kit can be ordered out of several Canadian dealers. I love my AVO kit, but of course everyone's needs ands wants are very different

You can hear the all three things you list, BOV not so much on the main set ups as they are set to full recirculation but if you get the AVO 50:50 (or other 50:50's or a full vent..which is not really recommended anyway) you will definitely hear it. The more boost you run, the louder it will be.

There are ways to increase the volume of everything also, upgraded panel filter will help a bit, changing up the intake style will help a bit (like a perrin for example, probably the best intake for the kit anyway unless AVO ever releases the one they developed themselves)

You could go with crazy after market BOV's like TIAL or HKS which certainly have a unique and loud sound..etc.
