4bar map

Will a n/a brz run with a omni 4bar? I have oft stg2 e85 tune now and just got a 4bar with a supercharger I bought, seeing how electronics can be sensitive, I wanted to test the sensor before I installed the entire kit and be stuck removing it if the sensor is damaged. I attached the 4bar and the car tried but wouldn't start. I tried twice before placing the stock m.a.p. back and the car runs fine. Any info will be helpful.

Car will need to be tuned for the MAP sensor. Which is an expensive check. Might as well just get the tune done for supercharger and check from there. I wouldn't assume it (the map sensor) would die so quickly though.

He has OFT, you just need to change the MAP settings, don't forget to change the CEL limits too.

Will not run with a 4 BAR unless the tune is for that sensor

As other guys said car wont start if you change to different MAP sensor, you need to change MAP sensor scaling to suit in tune to suit new map sensor

I thought the OFT supercharger tunes used 2.5bar omni but not 100%

would not go driving car unless tune is redone for alternate map sensor.

their are some MAP sensor scaling in this thread (even though ite primarily for maf sensor)
