HKS Hi-Power SPEC L vs. Invidia N any ideas?
i'm thinking to get an exhaust.. but having problem choosing one.
I like HKS' carbon tips and sound( not as loud as Invidia N1) but kinda pricey. N1 is cheaper so i like it.. have no idea.. need help! |

IMO, I've had the HKS Spec L (w/ cf tips) and it has sounded amazing paired with a carless/non-res. front pipe. If you ever do decide to get UEL cat-less headers by any chance, it gets a little raspy when hitting 4k+ RPM. The Invidia N1 on the other hand is loud and causes a lot of drone in the cabin. Personally, I'm not that "drone" guy but I do know a lot of people who loves that drone while driving.

Don't like the drone either, and also tempted by the HKS Spec-l because of the sound (and it saves weight) Just pricey... so might need to save longer... but I want to match it up to an EL length header. Again HKS is expensive... what have you got? |

For a cat back, the Hi Power is sweet. Quiet for cruising and nice and deep at WOT.
I have the Hi Power cat back on and tomorrow will have a catless EL header installed with a Tomei Xpreme over-pipe and HKS Super Exhaust catted front pipe. I'll let you know how it goes. If you can stretch for the HKS gear you wont regret it. Its great gear.

I use HKS Legamax Sport.
I really like it's sound , quiet before 3k rpm , Louder at higher rpm . after long term listening I prefer beautiful sound of HKS more than louder sound of other . |
