PS4 hard drive upgrading

Just to be sure I wanted to check a couple other opinions and I'm not part of any gaming forums to get the very latest opinion on this.
Since we are about to fill our PS4 and with Fallout 4, battlefront, Justcause3 already preordered, I need to make some room.

From what I understand the 2tb 9.5mm is the largest size that will fit besides extending the SATA cable out of the console into a external
drive where you can put up to a 4 tb. Anything larger than the 4TB is said to cause problems. Also a 1 tb SSHD can be used that is a little faster but only
doubles the space available instead of quadrupling it. Is that all correct?
If so then this

is in my cart waiting for me to press "buy". From my recent research,
this seems to be the most common hard drive being used right now.
Am I all good to pull the trigger on this?

You should be ok, the ps4 HD is alot more plug and play than the xbox one is, so stands to reason that it wouldnt be too hard for the switch. You may want a faster spinning one if the cooling/heat sink can handle it, get a 7200rpm one for faster load times.

Get a high quality HD if over 1tb. They fail more often than 500gb or smaller drives. A LOT more often.

I have a Samsung 840 pro/evo....whichever is the newest for that model (I forgot) with a Samsung sata 3. No issues. Been there for 8 months or so.

I've moved on to Xbox 1 for Halo games lately and Nintendo 3ds for Mario/portability lol
