Seemed to have valid point until BMW came back with their statement and the author all but removed the article. After that it now looks like the author was just throwing shit at the wall to see if any would stick, BMW just threw it back in his face and made him eat it.

No evidence of emission manipulation by BMW…. The values mentioned in the document were only generated in a single, one hour-long road test. Auto BILD has no access to the details of this test trail, which might explain the discrepancies to the test cycle NEDC.” (NEDC stands for New European Driving Cycle)

In other Words sorry I don't have any basis for my accusations I'm gonna shut up now

These "reporters" these days. Seems like they are living like they are still in college. I hope bmw sues them for slander, and the company fires the idiot(s) involved

I am so glad you said "reporters" not reporters. The people that write for these click bait rags are some of the greatest fiction writers in the world but they don't report shit. The company won't fire them in fact they probably got a bonus for getting more clicks.

Those bastards. I do miss my lawn. If I still had it I'll be out side yelling at teens via some streaming app.
Lately I'm taking the time to flag or make official complaints on web sites that have click bait crap.
Also I'm going much more in to detailed questions on fb friends that post the sandwich they had or the type of emotion they decide to "share" or anything they post up.
If all they want is attention they'll get it. They are just not happy when it comes from me.
