Ok, so the situation:

I'm currently on coils, but ideally would like to return to my stock suspension for the winter. I switched over the front pieces no problem, then got the rear disassembled without issue.

The trouble is, once I get onto the re assembly of the rear, I can't get the lca to bolt up. I can either attach it to the hub or the part by the diff, but not both. Is this due to my toe arms? Is there anyone who had been through the same process and has any tricks to getting this accomplished?

Disconnect the sway bar from the other side so it can pivot up and out of the way. I'm guessing that's your problem. Barring that, post pictures of what's going on.

Has nothing to do with the sway bar. It's like the LCA is too long to go between the hub and the frame (?) connection point.

Whats a LCA?

Found it...derp lower control arm. (no coffee yet)

Tried moving wheel assembly to see if it moved?

That's impossible based on how the suspension works, unless you're blocking the wheel from changing camber angle. Tilt the bottom of the hub outwards and there will be plenty of room to get the LCA in.

I'll try and get some pictures, but a friend and I were trying to make it go yesterday with zero luck.

One of us was pulling on the hub, the other was trying to get the lca lined up to the bolting point. It just wouldn't go. I'm seriously confused at this point.

Could it have something to do with my toe arms?

Edit: ok. Got the LCA on now. However, can't get the oem struts in there.

This has been sorted. Spent 30 minutes on one corner and got the strut and lca bolted up. Not sure what I was doing wrong yesterday...

Next time you're trying to get the shock(s) in there, disconnect one sway bar end link. It'll make your life MUCH easier.

I did have the sway bar links disconnected.

It was such a weird thing. It could have been due to frustration, or maybe the order I tried bolting it up in. I don't know, but it seemed absolutely impossible. Anyways, got it done, now just waiting on an alignment when I have the time. Have to remember to bring my camber bolts when I take it in.

Sometimes, the best solution is to call it a day, have a beer, then try again the next day lol.

Too many beers during the first day may have been the problem haha.

The second attempt, I ended up really hurting my arm while undoing some bolts, so I was taking a bunch of breaks and just taking a good look at what was going on during the install. Funnily enough, I've done aftermarket coils and RLCAs on my car and a friend's car in my garage and both of those installs went off without a hitch. The whole going back to stock was the real problem and I don't even know why. Most likely due to rushing it and not taking my time to actually troubleshoot.
