Putting Some BRZ parts in a FR-S?

Hey guys. Long story short, when I originally went to buy my car I wanted the BRZ simply for it's interior, more than the FR-S. Trouble was, there was absolutely none available in my area.

SO, I'd like to try and outfit my FR-S with some of the BRZ's furnishings... If possible. Here's a list.

- Swap out my seats for the BRZ seats, the important thing here is making sure they fit, and secondly making sure the airbag wiring/harness is the same so no issues arise there. Not trying to get heated seats into the FR-S, just the regular BRZ seats.

- Instrument cluster. I do prefer Subaru's cleaner gauge cluster. Just my concern here is again, wiring, warning lights appearing, and also if it would read my total miles correctly. (Last part isn't a huge deal. Also not sure if pulling one from a AT car for my MT would cause issues?)

- Climate Control/AC. I'd like to redo that area of the dash over to the BRZ's finish, with the climate control and the clock to match. Once again, the issue of wiring matching. Also, I'm sure the dual-climate control wouldn't work, but if both zones would work off one knob (or if the zones could be "synced" to work fine in the car) I'd be happy.

- Dash Cover. The part that is faux carbon fiber in the FR-S, that is Silver in the BRZ? I assume it's just universal clips for both. Although I may change that out depending on what gauges I get, and just go for the OEM Toyota black versions instead.

- Shift Boot & Shift Knob. Pretty self explanatory, might try and get it ordered through the dealership for convenience.

I think that covers it. I know it's a fair amount of work for some silly cosmetic changes, but, I'm picky.

Not worried about the rear seats, as I'll be doing a seat delete kit.

Oh, my ..........

I think you would be better off trading your FR-S in for a BRZ......

It would be easier to swap the bumper and badges...

Buuuuut... To my knowledge, it would all be plug and play. The only "hard" bits would be the center ac controls and the gauge cluster.

Don't forget the Subaru home link, I got it on my FRS, and it's the best.

My 2 cents:

BRZ Seats: should bolt right up not sure about harness search for a DIY like Tcoat mentioned.

Instrument Cluster: Look for gauge face swap, should get you what you want with minimal hassle.

Example:
http://www.86worx.com/subaru-brz/int...uge-faces.html
Edit: Not the only place to find these, just the first I found, you could also modify/make your own.
DIY:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91386

Dash Cover: for the little plastic airbag cover classic Toyo "T" pattern that looks like fake carbon fiber I'd just paint it or vinyl wrap it to whatever you really want.

Displaying the correct miles will matter when it comes time to sell the car.

for the money it'll cost you, you could've easily flown to the nearest place with a BRZ bought it and drive it home and you'd still have enough for hookers and blow

I'm pretty sure the shift knob and shift boot are identical with the brz and frs.
