one month in

so I'm one month into ownership of my brz limited and just wanted to share my thoughts:

things I've done:
- install eibach prokits
- drive 500 miles
- drive pretty much like I'd drive regularly, just haven't taken it north of 6k and will wait till I cross 1k miles to do so
- gone on 3 drives on the winding country roads here in the nashville metro area

things I love:
- you feel like you're literally on rails, the car doesn't ever seem to have body roll
- you feel hyper aware of your surroundings, the placement of speedo and tach as well as seats and their position make you feel at one with the road
- the rush of speed that builds north of 4500rpm
- hid head lights!! why have I never had these!!
- the creature comforts that come with the limited: Bluetooth integration, the 'comfort access' to borrow the bmw nomenclature
- I've not smiled this much while driving in a very very long time, I like to seek out the long way home pretty often
- that I have my old civic to drive my daughter around in.

things I don't love:
- I brought this problem on myself but especially an inch lower than stock it sure is hard to effortlessly get into or out of
- speed bumps and objects on the road have taken on a new level of importance
- I wish there was enough low end torque to spin tires in first effortlessly
- the materials of the hvac unit make me wonder if they'll last nearly as long as the rest of the car
- did I mention the backseat being pretty useless?

in any case, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I'm glad Subaru has stuck to their guns and made a relatively affordable insanely fun and technical car to drive. I hope many more people that really love driving for drivings sake get turned on to these cars.

I'm one month in today with my brz sport-tech.
Loving it. It's just so easy to drive. I miss some of the luxuries of my previous car (GMC Terrain SLT2) and my wife's not so crazy about getting in and out of the car but once in she loves it too.

I'd like a more up to date infotainment unit and would have loved CarPlay compatibility but I can deal with that later.

You can kill top two dislikes by not using the stiff lowering springs.

Well, coming from any muscle car or V6 sedan won't make you feel a rush, but I came from a 2006 Cobalt sedan. I can definitely feel a rush compared to the Cobalt. It seems he came from a Civic, so I bet he can feel a rush too.

Just a matter of perspective.

I feel that you can easily spin the rear tires on first gear every easily on this cars, (dont matter that this car does not have much low end torque imo)

I've had my 2015 BRZ for about a month and a half.
I can really say that the brotherhood on these forums is pretty solid, as far as for sharing knowledge, experiences and also modification ideas.
It's like a tuner car for all.

touchι. but then I have to live with the 'rally' ride height.

this car turns a quarter mile in the same time as my old 1995 mustang gt, and I never thought that was slow back in the day. also that torque dip actually serves to make the post dip revs come on fairly strong. I get that it's not a 500 hp bmw m5 but honestly, I have yet to feel like I've encountered ANY live drivin situation where I felt the car didn't have more than enough power to do exactly what I wanted.

I installed a K&N air filter - and i'm not going to lie. It feels pretty good.
But what's next after that before our first snow fall.
I'm thinking speakers!

Amp and 10 inch sub made my grins even wider than before.

Now I look like the Joker while listening to techno and eurobeat (which consists of mostly Initial D tracks).

I have to sell my cargo tray before i end up getting a sub in the back.
Will most likely get a oem sub installed if ever.
