Anybody looking for a Starlet in SoCal...

Came across this since I'm looking for a 1st gen Celica. Needs some work but damn, haven't seen one of these in years!

Looking for one, but far far far from SoCal. Wouldn't pay 4k USD for one either.

Have a semi built CA18ET with a T28 waiting, with custom mounts, ready to drop in.

Yeah something about those 1st gens, esp when they are vintage clean or with the chin spoiler, bolt on flared fenders, a rear wing and 14" SSR Star Sharks... or Panasports!!

I remember you weren't from the US. Where are you from again?

Even 2600 USD is too much for that thing given the condition it is in. $1500.. in this economy and after Obama's State of the Union speech is probably realistic.

I like the "TRD spl-coat hanger radiator support" he has mounted!

Guy locally dropped the price on an ST165 Alltrac Celica down to $1200. Soooo tempting... All he says it needs is rear brake lines and starter (and it's cosmetically rough).

I could pull the trigger on $900 and not feel bad if it's fubar'd.

I love both liftback and coupe ver of this car. Just can't get enough of it!

Here's 2JZ inside vid.

I also like 1JZ's lil high pitch revving
[u2b]JtT4nW5Gm6Q[/u2b]

...but I do like classic sound of v8 engine rumble too
[u2b]fVCEDMi0iNk[/u2b]

so much options... so lil money. lol
