Exhaust tips for Muffler Delete.

I've been looking at exhausts for the past couple of days and to my conclusion. They're expensive. I have decided I am going to go with a muffler delete instead. I looked at the dual tip muffler delete from Berk and $300 for a muffler delete is outrageous! I got a buddy at an muffler shop and said he'd do it for $100 including custom tips. My question is where can i find generic roughly 4 or 4.5 inch tips (to fill the holes in the diffuser because stock is way too damn tiny, they look out of place) for the frs. I tried looking for generic titanium burnt tip exhaust tips and most of them were the cheap-o one you put over your pre-exsisting exhaust tips. I'm looking for something that isn't poor quality, where would i go to find them?

Not to poop in your thread, but you're self-selecting cheap muffler tips by looking for burnt titanium ones.

Borla, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, etc... all make decent weld-on or clamp-on tips, but you're on your own for burnt titanium.

Cool. You could always burn them yourself, if you're so inclined. I'm not a fan of the look, but it's fairly easy to get stainless steel to change color with a blowtorch.

I contacted a guy about his berk muffler delete he's selling and he wants $220 with it used. I'd much rather go my own custom route not only cuz its cheaper but because it'll be a custom exhaust.

Will do! I'm going to talk with him here over the weekend about it. Meeting him at raceworz in Sac with his 06 GTO he has long tube headers and catless exhaust.

Yeah I'll try to get videos of it when it's doing quarter miles and the exhaust competition.
