Lower shift knob?

Lately I've been finding myself gripping lower on the shifter of my 6MT, finding the action to be much smoother, faster, and less notchy that way. I've seen pictures of shift knobs that sit lower than stock without installing a short-shift kit, but I'm having trouble finding any specific info. Can anybody recommend a knob that sits low without interfering with the reverse lockout? Thanks!!

WC Lathewerks has cut out under shifter to sink the knob down and still clear reverse lockout.

RobertPaulson: might it be because lower then stock feature is listed only for all-metal knob? Their two-part one with plastic top seemed more "all-weather" friendly for very hot and very cold days, but hadn't deeper thread listed among features. Though then again they offer custom making at some price too ..

Thanks for the suggestions. The knobs from WC Latheworks are gorgeous. Can anyone tell me the difference in height between them and the ones from Voodoo?
