'15 WRB Limited Brz
I'm not really into the whole "taking the time for writing a backstory that no one will read." Let's face it, we're all here to look at build pictures.
[ I'm a subject of PhotoBuckets tomfoolery and had to transfer all my photos to another hosting website. Some of the pictures are out of order, completely missing, or mismatched with some of the story. I am working to fix it the best I can. ] Brz Modification List: Exterior: -Suntek Window Tint 35% Windshield 70% -1970 Z-Car Fender mirrors. Refurbished - Matte Black Bullet Style (needs install) -S-Craft Full Dry Carbon Fiber Hood (1st one imported to the U.S.) -GrimmSpeed Hood Struts (Sold. To weak to hold up carbon hood) -Rexspeed Carbon Fiber Hood Struts -Perrin Front License Plate Relocation Kit -Valenti Tail Lights (Smoked) -Valenti 4th LED Break Light (Smoked) -Rocket Bunny V1 GT Wing w/ Black powder Coated Supports (needs painted and installed) -Aimgain Roof Spoiler (currently not painted) Interior: -Diode Dynamics LED Conversion Stage 2 Kit: 6,000K Cool White -Weather Teach Floor Mats w/ Red BRZ Logo Insert -BlackVue 650gw Front & Rear facing camera's w/ Power Magic Pro -Ram X-Grip Universal Phone Mount -JPM Coachworks Alcantara Shift Boot Cover Power/Engine Goodies: -AMSOIL Synthetic 30w-20 (Motor Oil) -Motul SAE 75w-90 (Transmission Fluid) -Fumoto Quick Change Valve -Nameless Front Pipe/Overpipe combo w/ Helmholtz Resonator Ball & High-flo Cat -Nameless Axelback w/ 5" Muffler & Double Wall Slash Cut Exhaust Tips -Tomei Expreme UEL Header -GrimmSpeed Cold Air Intake - Wrinkle Red -Password JDM Dry Carbon Dress Up Kit *Dress up Bolts - Red Suspension/Chassis/Breaks: -Raceseng Top Hats -Fortune Auto Series 500 Coilovers - -Cusco Strut Tower Bar w/ Master Cylinder Break Holder -Cusco Lower Control Arms -Carbing Lower Front Struts Wheels & Tires: -WedsSport SA10R 18 x 9.5 - Offset 45 20.4 lbs - Zebra Black Finish -WedsSport Center Cap - Carbon Flat Black *Powder Coated - Wrinkle Copper w/ Matte Clear Coat -Michelin PS4S 255/45/ R18 -Muteki SR45R Burnt Neon Blue with Rotating Taper Seat. '93 Ford Festiva L This is my project race car/show car. Picked it up for $300. These cars get 40 MPG. Pretty good considering cars now can't even get that. Plans are to swap the engine with a Mazda 1.8 BP or BP-T. Not sure on which way I want to take it yet. ![]() I can add more pictures or start a separate build thread if anyone is interested. Now for the Brz. Day I picked it up. They had to have it delivered. I couldn't not have a World Rally Blue Subaru. Sadly, it had a little over 200 miles on it. I got them to throw in a Subaru shirt though! Scores!! Had to drive 3 hours to Columbus to pick it up. They gave me the cheapest quote. It came with a Rear Bumper Applique and a Cargo Tray. 6/29/15 ![]() The very next day drove it to Traverse City, Michigan for a family vacation over the 4th of July. (Partly to help it with the break-in period) Went to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. 1st fill up. ![]() Stopped at the Hardee's for a bite to eat. Or was it a Carl's Jr.? ![]() Picture during the scenic drive at Sleeping Bear Dunes. Some point along the trip I hit 1000 miles. ![]() Watched the sunset on Lake Michigan. ![]() Snapped a few pictures about week 3 of having the car. During my 1st curvy road casual drive. It rained in my area for like 2 months. This was the 1st good day I was able to drive with sun and dry roads. ![]() ![]()

I would love to get an exhaust. Not really sure on what system I want. I love the sound of the Cosworth Nameless. I'm kinda waiting on buying one though. I don't want to void the warranty. I'll never get 34,000 miles in 3 years. This is the 1st round of mods I got for the Brz. Valenti 4th LED Break Light (Smoked) Diode Dynamics LED Conversion Stage 2 Kit: 6,000K Cool White 1-31mm SMF6 Dome Light 1-194 HP5 Trunk Light 2-194 HP5 Door Light 2-28mm SMF2 Vanity Light 2-194 HP5 License Plate ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I love the LED conversion! I would suggest it to anyone. Easy install as well. Before/After pictures ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The 4th break light is pretty neat. I think it really ties the car together. Not sure why the tails and break light wasn't originally put on the car to match the headlights. Oh well, more mods to add to the list. I'm kinda into the Buddy Club Lambo style break lights or I may get the Valenti break lights to match the 4th break light. It took a little figuring out how to wire the 4th break light to work properly. Had to take the light itself apart and snip a wire and extend that wire to run the system as a running light + break light. Wish I woulda done a write-up with pictures. My cousin helped me out with wiring. We couldn't find a good write-up for it.

Great first couple of mods. That Valenti 4th brake light looks awesome!
And yep, like weederr33 says, go for the catback, it doesn't affect your warranty coverage.

Well that's good to know. I'll have to start researching on what exhaust I want. Sooo many choices! When I started talking to my local dealer, I wanted a STI ground effects kit, uninstalled. They told me if I installed it myself, that it would void the bumper to bumper. Completely silly. Anywhooo... Update! ![]() ![]() ![]() Figured I'd cut a hole in the cover for a more cleaner look. And for a higher chance to keep anything from going inside. ![]() ![]() Also got my vanity plates 2 weeks ago ![]()

Agreed! I just looked at the guy and said, "Wow!" They wanted like 31,000$ for the car anyhow. Walked out.

I'd do it anyway. If they try to start any issues, take it to a different dealership

I've read some dealers are more lenient on mods than others. Bad thing is I live super far from another dealer. I think I'll save that money and spend it on a completely different kit.

Something wide body. I have really been leaning on the Varis kit.
Picture for reference:

Interesting... I'm not a fan of it, but if that's what you desire, go for it! haha. If I had a BRZ I'd probably just get the STI trim.

I think the front end looks a little bit to round and I don't like the sponsor sticker's and pin stripe. Might end up mixing and matching a bit. That kit cost something close to $10,000 U.S. So that would be a ways down the road.
