Cannot for the life of me decide on rims!

Spent the past few weeks internally debating on which wheels to go for, the only thing I am completely set on spec wise is that theyre at least 8.5J front and back

I've narrowed it down to a few hopefuls, here are the models and their specs.

Klutch SL5 (Black/Bronze)

Would be going 18x9.5J square, 235/40/R18 front, 255/40/R18 rear

Volks TE37SL (Black with chrome lip)

Again, Would be going 18x9.5J square, 235/40/R18 front, 255/40/R18 rear

Works Emotion CR Kiwami (Matte Bronze)

Would be going 18x8.5J front 18x9.5J rear, 225/40/R18 front, 245/40/R18 rear

Advan TCIII (Dark greyish / Silver)

Would be going 18x9.5J square, 235/40/R18 front, 255/40/R18 rear

Offsets, spacer usage, fender rolling, tab clipping, camber, toe and drop is all expected depending on setup so no real surprises there.

Just trying to find something that will best suit my setup as I progress.

Heres how she sits right now, on the stock 17" rims which I don't really hate, but not totally in love with either.


Rear tail lights are valentis smoked, the headlights will be these once I get around to installing them.

Will be installing a color matched (C7P) TRD rear spoiler once that arrives too, in place of the original spoiler.

Overall It's mostly red and black but i'm trying to cut a good balance and from what i've seen trawling through thousands of car pictures is that bronze is a nice combo color for this red, but a ring of white/polished on a dark rim looks nice too..
I had briefly contemplated white kiwamis but after throwing a set on at UpGarage last weekend i'm dead against it.

One of my biggest issues is despite being in Japan, there isnt actually that much choice with regards to rim manufacturers, and very few either directly or through dealers ship to Japan, so theres brands like rays, works, enkei, advan and a couple others and the rest are a million combinations of tacky chrome and stepwagon pimping scaryness.

Anyway, any help or even just opinions such as "if it were me i'd go with" are welcome because at this point im half tempted to just buy one of each and go a different rim per corner.

I think the 2 piece Work Emotion CR with the black face and polished lip would be perfect.


255/40 is a pretty big tire for this car, i would go 18x9 with 255/35 all around or staggered 8.5/9.5 with 225/40 and 255/35.

I'm going to go with the Weds Maverick 710s in the bronze finish in a few months once i get the money saved up, might be something else to look at too.

Edit: look at the gram lights 57transcend also, even some of the black 57DR's would look great.
