Thumbs up My FBM Build

Current build setup

FBM Turbo Kit
Turbo: GTX3076R
FBM 550cc injectors
FBM 270LPH fuel pump
FBM 4 Bar map sensor
FBM Complete 3" exhaust
ACT SB7-XTSS - Torque Capacity (ft/lbs.) : 347

** Update 8/4/15 **

So far everything is installed and waiting for the Fullblown kit to come in.

The exhaust was quick and easy. The clutch wasn't to bad thanks to King Tut's tip on jacking up oil pan to reinstall trans. I was able to lay the transmission on my chest and lift the little shit up and shake her into place without a jack. The V-band exhaust clamps aren't final nor tight. I'll tighten the clamps once the turbo kit is installed.

I have updated pictures below. Now i'm just jonesing for the kit to ship. I guess I can spit polish my engine bay

** 7/29/15 **
I just received my FBM 3" Exhaust including the 3" overpipe today from fedex! The FullBlown craftsmanship looks great. Either tonight or tomorrow I'll be removing my entire exhaust and dropping the trans to install my ACT clutch and Fullblown exhaust to break everything in before the FBM Turbo kit arrives in the next week or so.

I'm really can't express how happy I am to give Fullblown my money. I really hope they realize, the small things they do day to day means to us.

FBM 3" Exhaust

ACT Clutch Installed

FBM 3" Exhaust

Factory toilet paper clutch is about to come off

ACT Clutch Installed

Trans kissing the floor

Naked Engine bay

Oh I promise. The hardest part wasn't the exhaust or taking the motor mount nut off to jack the engine up to remove the overpipe, but getting the car up high enough. He'll the clutch install was cake.

I will post a full install of clutch and turbo kit by the 6th.

You are welcome. This car is definitely one of the easier cars to do a clutch swap on, but it sure would be nice if it had a pitch stop mount like all the WRX/STIs with EJ motors do to stop that rotation of the motor. You should see how much stuff I had to disconnect and had to lower the subframe 3 inches to get access to bolts during the clutch install on my S2000.

I know everyone talks about the customer service but damn. The craftsmanship and skill in these pipes is nasty awesome.

The pictures below is is the 3" exhaust mounted with 3" overpipe clearance with the downpipe connected. The clearance is perfect! about 2mm away from the motor on top and 2mm from the bottom. Nothing is hitting its damn perfect.

I still feel like an asshat with all the questions leading up to the kit but jesus these guys have it together with their craftsmanship big time. Also noted the pictures i'm finding on the internet of the kits piping for the intercooler and all doesn't get anywhere as nice as it is in person. FBM has really updated their shit. One less elbow on the intake side and the vacuum lines, water lines and fittings are much much nicer. The hose clamps are no comparison to the manual or other online photos. Everything is +2. I am completely shocked.

Huge respect for FBM team.

Ya I'm waiting for LJ to fix 1 tiny issue with the tune but I'm stoked. Everything lined up perfectly and I'd tripled checked every nut and bolt 3 times.

Well, installed the tune from LJ today and it runs and idles perfectly. Only 1 real HUGE bummer but lucky me, I have family in the automotive body shop business.

I had to trim my BRZ limited HID headlight assembly and notch the hell out of it. We're going to epoxy it tomorrow at the shop to seal the 2" sized hole to allow the intake pipe by.

Besides that all that, It's really is a blasted. Instant Torque, Pssssht in every gear and with this exhaust I swear the cabin nose is still quite as hell.

Thank you Fullblown!
