Best front pipe?
Hey guys, bought my car with a invidia catless front pipe and invidia N1 catback. Looking for recommendations for something with a little deeper tone, was thinking a resonated front pipe going with some Borla UEL soon and right now the car is obnoxious without UEL's.
Anything front pipe wise with a deeper note? Perrin? What do you guys think? I've only owned the car a few weeks and the tone of the exhaust makes me cringe, I feel like a freaking civic. As always thanks in advance

That's more characteristic of the N1 than anything else. You could try getting something like the HKS dual-resonated FP, but I'm not sure if it'll fix the issue for you. Also, if you get headers, you'll almost certainly want to ditch the N1, as it becomes unbearable with catless headers.

The more resonators you add to your exhaust the quieter it will be. Look for a front pipe that is catted and resonated, or dual resonated. There is no such thing as a best anything for any car. Every single part for a car has its pros and cons. You need to balance your wants with your needs and make a decision from there.

My setup is Boral UEL headers, custom overpipe (really crappy but it works for now) Motiv "test pipe" (front pipe) with a chopped up TRD catback. It sounds deep and is very quite at idle and fairly loud at 7000rpm and no rasp at all. No drone, can have conversation in the car no problem. I think my setup is a good balance for a DD. I might switch out my catback oneday to make it a little louder but we will see.
