Extended maintenance...

Is this worth it? I have mixed feelings....

I have heard from several peeps its a waste of cash, however I bought my 2013, 86 second hand and it's currently on 31000km.

Was thinking of extending for 5 years?

She's currently stock standard apart from some sound.

Would like your 2 cents

Thanks
D

Do you have a maintenance plan?

The 86's come standard with a Service plan (4 year / 60,000km? ) and a warranty (3 year / 100,000km)

Service intervals are 15,000km

It costs R5k to extend your warranty for an additional 3 years /100,000km

The Subaru BRZ comes with a maintenance plan.

Take out the warranty from Toyota and just pay for services....nothing to worry about...this is not a German luxuary car so service should be reasonable.

Any idea what the cost of service would be outside of maintenance plan! I have 20000km and its a 2013 model?

I just extended my warranty. Cost was R3900 for 2 years

Remeber though, the service plan ends at 60 000kms and you need to still service + repair at toyota to keep the warranty
