Replacement Smart Key?

I bought a used 2014 FR-S Monogram (w/Push Button Start) and I was only given (1) proximity Smart Key from the dealer and I wanted to have a spare on hand. A local Scion dealer quoted me $539.02 plus tax for a fob and key (not including labor)!

I was wondering if anyone here has gone through a 3rd party and got it programmed & cut elsewhere; where did you buy your Smart Key and how much did everything cost for you? $550 seems a little ridiculous IMO.

Here is a picture as reference...

From what I understand the BRZ Limited has the same SKS system as a Toyota Prius. Therefore, all you need is Techstream (pain to install on a 64-bit system), a MINI VCI cable ($25 on amazon), and a reset code. Below is a useful link that you should probability read through.

Smart key fobs are expensive for all brands. This is nothing new.
