Starkiller's 10 Series Stuff and Things Build**Now with Dyno video and graph

Hello All! Greetings, Salutations, and Mazel Tov!! I have owned my FRS for almost two years and I have finally begun the modding. I tried to hold off for as long as I could, but alas, the bug has gotten the best of me.

As you will see, below, my 10 Series is quite stock with the exception of the TRD lowering springs and window tint.

I have decided to tackle the GO before the SHOW, because our cars are already beautiful. There isn't anything I really want to do in the way of looks. I am trying focus on functional mods that will improve the performance or driving experience.

It began with getting the baseline dyno run, so I can measure the eventual gains.

I used to own a GC8 Impreza and that turned me against the Subaru gargle forever. I happiest day of my ownership of that car was when I put the stock exhaust back on. LOL. So, I decided to start with an equal length exhaust manifold. Being that I am planning to remain NA, I also wanted a long tube option. Through my research I found several I liked and I ended up going with the PLM, which is basically a replica of the Nameless design. I do feel bad not supporting an American company, but at the end of the day, I'm more worried about paying my bills and not theirs. LOL.

Everyone knows the problems with this header, so I decided to fix them. I necked it down to a 2.5 inch flange, filled in the internal welds by the flanges, ported them, planed the flanges and ceramic coated it.

I have always had a thing for Titanium and I really wanted a full Titanium exhaust on my FRS. That proved a little more difficult than I first thought...

First, I found this beautiful axle back from a company in Florida that built it as a prototype and then decided not to manufacture it, so I got it for a steal.

Next came the Tomei Expreme Titanium Straight Pipe and stainless steel Overpipe.

Then after much stress trying to find a titanium mid pipe, I decided to try to find someone to build one for me and that was just as difficult. Nobody wants to weld Titanium. Lol. Fortunately for me, as a member of this awesome forum, I posted on here in my time of need and JDL stepped forward and built me a beautiful custom titanium mid pipe.

I already installed a Skunk2 Air intake which I really like.

Lastly, in an effort to reduce some rotational mass, I wanted a lightweight flywheel. I figured I might as well get a new clutch at the same time.

I will be installing the parts within the next few days...hopefully. LOL. I will be getting in tuned locally in Tampa. If anyone is familiar with the Nissan community, you have probably heard of RSEnthalpy. The guy that owns it, happens to be a very good friend of mine and wants to dive into our scene. He is using my car as a pilot project and I will posting all the results on here.

Hopefully not too much. LOL. The exhaust is very quiet and deep. Hopefully, the adjoining pipes won't make it too terribly loud at idle and low rpms. I love the sound it makes as just an axle back system.

And I chose Starkiller, because I am a big Star Wars guy. Check out my favorite interior mod. He spins around and beeps every time I start the car. LOL.
