Engine/Drivetrain Squeak Upon Deceleration in Gear - 2013 M/T FR-S

Shortly after letting off the gas while in gear, while I'm enjoying the sound of the exhaust as the RPMs slowly drop from 4k to 2k or so, I will have an intermittent and difficult to repeat "Chirp" come from the engine bay / drivetrain.

Metallic Chirp / Squeak is the best way to describe it. Might get a video if necessary.

This occurred during slower speeds going from stoplight to stoplight.

*accelerate to 4k or so and remove foot from gas, in gear* "Vrrrrrrrr-CHIRP-rrrrrrrrr." Can't really hear it if say you had music and the windows up. Doesn't affect the driveability or affect tach, etc.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

A/C clutch noise?
Hard to tell from your description.
Try driving in a parking lot at 5-10 mph at a constant speed with A/C on.
More noticeable in a covered parking lot with windows open.
Is that the metal bar hitting another metal bar like "TING" noise that happens every 15 seconds or so? If it's the same noise, then that probably is the A/C clutch noise.

Does the A/C need to be on or off? Happens when slowing only.

This was with the A/C off.

that tek tek sound . I believe it is happened when u go rev up around 4k-5k . and remove the gad it active once and after that press the gas 60% it jumps again once . Sametimes happen and not happened. if so that's is from clutch description springs holders . it cozed by melt the plastic springs lock or heated xclutch spring. that sound from the springs mean the engine push the clutch hard but the spring can not take the high tourqes

+1 for a/c chirp noise. I get it and it sounds exactly like what you described. I turn off the a/c and it stops.

If it happens with A/C off, then it's something else. And my car doesn't make that type of noise when doing what you described.

My car didn't make that noise at first. Around 20k miles is where it started.

Mine has 25k or so at the moment. Doesn't interrupt the engine or anything, but in the middle of coasting (no foot on clutch) you hear a metallic squeak.

It's really just a minor annoyance at this point, but I don't want to miss out on something if I need to address it. Just wondered if it was a common occurrence.
